During the initial years analytical growth of the brain of the child develops at a rapid rate. By the time they are 2 year old their brain develops up to 70 percent and when they become 5 it develop up to 90 percent. During this pace of their life they want to explore everything with curiosity therefore parents should provide them alternate means to explore the surroundings and learn new things.

This can be done with the help of fun games for example with the help of stories-telling, pictures, nursery rhymes like twinkle-twinkle little star , puzzles etc. with the help of these games in the initial years language and vocabulary can be taught to them. For example by drawing different parts of face like nose, eyes, ears and mouth or with the help of jingles and dolls, by stimulate them to create stories of their own they could learn new words with ease and also learn how to communicate. All these activities sounds like entertaining to them and they eagerly learn all the things but it should be kept in mind that games should be short and simple.
